The transportation and land use sector includes GHG emissions associated with on-road transportation and off-road vehicles and equipment. On-road transportation emissions include emissions from vehicles miles traveled (VMT) and off-road vehicle and equipment emissions include those from off-road vehicles and equipment used within the unincorporated areas of the county. This sector represents one of the two largest emissions sectors in the county's 2019 GHG inventory.
