What are the main barriers or challenges people here face to doing more for the environment locally?
I think people are overwhelmed. There are so many who are taking great action, but then there are so many that are still quite oblivious. The climate actors are burning out and many others are stuck and don't know what to do. We have to make it simpler for people to address issues and take action on issues that affect them directly. Right now change in behavior is associated with suffering and deprivation. What if a change in behavior would actually be fun for all of us? Let's not make others wrong, let's role model what we would like to see.
